Post Crusade - Politics

Hahahah, bet you guys never thought you'd see "Post Crusade" in a title of one of these things ever again.

Well, the truth is that back in 2013 when I revamped, I simply couldn't be bother to convert the now Tumblr-based comic into something that is usable on DeviantArt. It seriously didn't feel right, and even though I'm posting material now, it still doesn't. Thus, PC is off DA forever, except for little blurbs like this one. (However, if some poor soul out there wants a recap, hit me up.)

Anyways, this is a drawing I made to accompany a little story detail I added, that being Rarity being Ponyville's mayor in the comic's time.

Mayor Rarity was elected Mayor of Ponyville in 2014 (comic time) for a term of 6 years. 

Due to strange village traditions, Rarity was essentially elected by popular mandate. The new mayor is more ambitious than her predecessor, looking to push the hamlet further into the modern age while also preserving its charm. Revitalizing the main square with new shops and upgraded public paths, connecting the town to telephones and grid power, and an expanded effort to preserve green spaces have brought Rarity well-deserved acclaim.

On the side, she also continues her successful business in fashion design.
